Really?

Two days ago I tried to reinstate my Facebook account since so many things are using it now and having an account makes it easier to get information. Got a bunch cryptic emails saying that I have to go through an appeals process. Not sure why that.  I had an account once and I deleted it.

I have given up. The text, above, is from the FAQ. I ask again: who do they think they are?

  1. Weird! I deleted my account in 2018 & made a new one in 2020 with no problem. I did use a different email however…

  2. I mean, I had to begin all over again adding friends & stuff. Both my old FB accounts are lost in the mist. I also had deleted one I used 2004-2007 & created a new one after that from a different email. Can you try creating a throwaway email address for a new FB account?

    1. I may try that. I thought I was using a different one. What is annoying is that there doesn't' seem to be a way to contact anyone at FB about it. That I have found so far. Possibly I should take this as a sign from the Universe that I should not get a FB account.

  3. Life is easier with one, for me. I have some friends who refuse to communicate any other way…

  4. Oddly, Facebook gave me a different kind of headache when I wanted to permanently delete my account. - DJ
