I enjoy my Facebook as much as the next guy, but I grow tired of the politics, and of Zuckerberg's calls on how to handle Trump's negative, destructive presence on it. If this starts up again, I will quit, if for no other reason than to add a little calm to my life, which is too short, by the way, to lend space to Trump and his ilk.
From the website:
Keep Trump Off Facebook
Any day now, Facebook could reinstate Donald Trump's accounts. I don’t want to even imagine Facebook reinstating Trump. We’ve lived through the trauma of his Facebook posts in the past. No amount of ad dollars can justify giving him back his blowhorn for violent extremism, disinformation, hate, and discrimination.

I’m glad he’s off, but not because of him. It’s because friends can’t stop quoting him and replying to him. No matter how hard I try to keep his shit out of my face, some friend will invariably say SEE WHAT HE SAID!?! Ugh. And not just him… friends MUST respond to every piece of political dreck that comes up, which flops it into my feed because those pages are always public. They believe it’s crucial that their particular snark or comment be seen, as if that will change anything. Same with Twitter, but my method for dealing with Twitter is to search out the accounts I enjoy and ignore the feed. FB is just a disgusting mess and difficult to filter for what I like…
