While a Rabbi and a Priest Slept

 From The Sunday Muse

A moon and crow walk into a bar.

“What is this?  Some kind of joke?” asks the bartender.

He is grumpy.

“No,” says the crow. “We’re serious.”

“Too serious,” says the barkeep, “if you ask me.”

“I’d like a starry sky, then,” says the moon.

“And a puddle of rainwater for my friend.”

  6. That was fun--and thanks for all the (generous) feedback! I stared at the picture for so long it began to look funny, and then I realized moon and crow were pals.
