Pictured above is some art on a wall bounding a liquor store parking lot in midtown. Just for your edification.
Today Google reminds us that in 1972 Montana hosted the world's largest snowflake.
Montana has 1.4 elk per square mile. Also 1.4 antelope, and 3.3 deer per square mile. When the deer and the antelope play, there are about two deer just standing by. There are 0.4 Indians per square mile in Montana. For every 2.3 square miles, there is one indian, 7.6 deer, 3.2 elk and 3.2 antelope.
If you didn't look, the biggest snowflake was almost 15" in diameter.
Fifteen inches round? Holy antelopes!!! How may angels danced on that snowflake before they had to form a waiting line?
ReplyDeleteJust one angel. (See picture, above.)
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me. I had planned to go to the carwash today, but decided I had too much other stuff on my list and would go super-early tomorrow when (hopefully) there'd be less of a line. Whenever I go there and am waiting for my car, I look across at a place named Silvery Liquor and wonder... who thought of this name? It's weird. Why "silvery?" It gives me the shivers. I just looked it up on Google to see if that's the whole name and the Yelp reviews came up. People are mad because they charge $1 to use a debit card there. Huh. Anyway. Nice hippo.
ReplyDeleteI seldom clean my car, even though I vowed to start doing so when I bought my new little black car. (big mistake) There is something un-fresh about the name SIlvery Liquors, it's true. Like those giant cockroaches pretending to be pizza delivery people.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are freaking me out.
